Gerberas
The ever popular Gerbera is available in many colours and there is always a good colour choice of Gerberas available through out the year.  They are a cost effective hand held posy due to their large heads hence there are not so many required to make up a hand held posy. 

We use the standard size gerbera for the bride and brides maids and the mini gerberas for the flower girls.  They are fairly hardy flowers and can tolerate the heat of summer (with care taken) they suit their stems being left long, bound with satin ribbon with or without a bow or greenery they make a great statement. 

Classically simple and elegant. Gerberas can look really stunning as hair flowers, plus as cake flowers and also a good choice for buttonholes for the men.
